Museum Trip 2025

On Wednesday, the 6th of August, we hopped on the bus and headed to the Auckland Museum. When we arrived, the staff welcomed us and reminded us of the rules, like walking instead of running. We then joined Room 1 for an exciting volcano lesson with the museum educators. Using all our prior knowledge, we impressed the teacher with what we already knew about volcanoes. We loved learning even more and even got to touch real volcanic rocks! After our lesson, we explored the museum, discovering amazing things about our country and marvelling at the gigantic dinosaur skeletons.

Kelly Sport 23/5

Today marked our first Kelly Sports session, and we kicked things off by focusing on our rugby ball skills!

During Kelly Sports, we follow three important rules set by our coach:

  1. Listen carefully to the coach.

  2. Freeze like a statue when the whistle blows.

  3. Always have fun!

Today, we practised the “catch and hug” technique. Everyone had a great time, and we’re all excited to keep learning new rugby skills in the sessions to come!
